You Got Me Wrapped Up :)

Helloooooo :)
What's up people?
I'm going to talk about where i went recently which so happens to be at an Olly Murs concert at Thetford Forest (30/6/17).

Let's start with the car journey - pretty uneventful to be honest, as it's Fran's car, Fran dictates the music so we were listening to Olly Murs (no surprise there)- as soon as the song "You Don't Know Love" started playing in the car, Fran and i started belting it out at the top of our lungs to which my mum said you are going to be 10 times crazier when he's actually performing this song on stage - we were 10 times worse when he actually did perform this song but even my mum sang along to it then so we must have done something right.

Next the waiting: We got into venue at around 6:30 and Louisa Johnson (Olly's opening act) was due to come on stage at 7:30 so we had an hour to kill. luckily we bought some food and some blankets and had a little picnic listening to the same 10 songs on loop for the next hour - they were a good choice of songs but i wasn't a fan of hearing them over and over again. I went to the merchandise stall and bought myself a programme and a blue beanie which is absolutely stunning i love it. Fran and i were attempting to do uptown funk in sign language with our only success being the chorus and i jammed out to rockabye by clean bandit, anne-marie and sean paul while my mum shouted out to her ex by little mix.

Louisa Johnson: Louisa entered onto the stage with what looked like the exact same jeans she wore on the one show previously during the same week. She was great - she has a very powerful voice and was holding her own on the stage. She sang a couple of covers like Shape of You by Ed sheeran where she added her own rap section in place of the second verse and sang Love yourself by Justin Bieber, to which my mum calls it "F**k yourself" and i will tell you that replacement lyric does work in the song which is why i found it so funny when i was singing along to the song and my mum sings "and if you like the way you look that much well baby you should go and F**k yourself" - well done mum! Louisa was very good on her own however about half way through Olly's set she came on stage to sing their new song out Unpredictable she wasn't a strong as when she was on her own - i feel that the backing singers may have drowned out her voice.

The Big Event- It's Olly! - there was a large count down clock counting back from 24 as his latest album is called 24 HRS, he then arrived on stage his normal cheeky chappy self - singing You Don't Know Love which obviously sent fran and i absolutely mental as we were just belting it out in the car on the journey there! he next sang wrapped up - my sister's favourite olly murs which the performance was full of him being the performer and cheeky chappy he is - dancing, making a fool of himself and trying to be sexual by thrusting on stage etc. The highlights of my night were Dear Darlin' (my favourite Olly Murs, to which i belted it at the top of my lungs- as did most people) and Olly ripping his trousers on stage and his mum was the one to point it out - he was meant to go off and change but he decided he would much rather just finish the show even with split trousers and to add to that he decided to take off his shirt right at the end of the night haha. He's such a natural born performer and even if you aren't the biggest fan of him or his music i highly recommend going to see him live because he really puts on a great and memorable performance!!!

I will finish this posts with some pictures and videos from the night!

 Well that's it for today,

See you next time
S xoxo
