Ello,
I am a Disney addict - as are we all deep down. Disney films are just films you can never get bored of they remind you of your childhood and most of the time whilst watching disney films or entering the stores or visiting the theme park we revert to our childhood self. I for one love Disney films but i don't necessarily follow the trends of the best Disney films or considered best. I hate Frozen for one - every time my niece was round she insisted on watching it and i couldn't stand it to begin with so as you can imagine i have developed a pure hatred for Frozen. Without further ado i am going to countdown my top 5 Disney films.5). A Bug's Life (A pixar film presented by Disney) (1998)

I basically had all the soft toys and merchandise growing up and the soft toy collection is still one of my prized possessions. I used to love this film as a kid - even though i hate bugs with a passion- mainly because of Heimlich the caterpillar. Heimlich reminds me a little bit of myself in the fact he is optimistic thinking everything will get better eventually - which for him means becoming a beautiful butterfly - which he achieved at the end of the film. All of the characters are quite funny - my sister always liked the ladybug Francis who was actually a guy - mainly because her was so sarcastic/witty.

4). The Lion King (1994)
The age old classic of the lion king, based on Hamlet by William Shakespeare - which is mainly why it's reached the top 5 (i'm a huge fan of Shakespeare). the music is incredible and is still one of the most heartbreaking and fantastic storylines for a disney film. to this very day i still know all the words to the music and myself and my sister tend to quote the movie quite a bit - mainly singing Be Prepared, which is our favorite song from the movie. My favourite character in the film is Rafiki (the baboon) because i think he's hilarious especially when he keeps hitting Simba in the head with his stick (no euphemism was implied there).3). The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
What's this? Ah the Nightmare Before Christmas is a classic film - originally based on a poem written by Tim Burton the film was originally going to be a 30 minute sketch - can you imagine, i'd be devastated. I am so glad they manage to turn it into a musical film with animation because it is still one of my favourite movies. I've probably watched it too often as i can quote the movie word for word and i try to put on the voices for every character, including when they sing, it's one of the best Tim Burton films and Danny Elfman is phenomenal in composing the music for this film and playing the main role of Jack Skellington. My favourite song from the movie is Jack's Obsession, where Jack is toying with himself over his intense studying over christmas. My favourite character is Lock (it used to be barrel) - i love all the boogie boys but Lock is by far my favourite 😁2). Hercules (1997)
I'm mainly in this film for the music. The music in this film is incredible - it's so catchy and Go the Distance just sums up most people's lives - there are so many times where we wanted to find somewhere where we fit in and are driven to succeed in life. We all feel lost at some point in our lives and go the distance sums it up really. I also love how, apart from the very end where Megara has fallen in love with Hercules, Megara is so sassy and doesn't act like a damsel in distress- which is rare for a Disney film. Also Hades is a great character is like a sassy best friend - although he didn't achieve what he set out to do - Hades is by far my favourite villain across all disney films. I would also like to point out my sister and i are most certainly pain and panic (guess which one i am 😉 ).1). Sword in the Stone (1963)
I used to be obsessed with the Arthurian legend when i was younger, in fact i still am hence why i like BBC Merlin, so obviously Sword in the Stone is going to be top of the list. It's not a particularly long film and there aren't a lot or anything like what you would expect from Disney but it is a fun and entertaining film and I still love it. My favourite character is Archimedes, the owl, because he's very sarcastic.
