Hey Guys,
This is going to be a short post about Saturday night when I went out with the girls.
So on Saturday night (11th March) myself and some of the girls ( Lish, Amy, Emma, Paige and Elli) went to the Brickmakers in Norwich to see Amy's boyfriend Jordan perform with his band Enigma.
This was the first time we've ever really had a night out as such due to work schedules etc. I have to say this was right up my street for a night out, i'm not a massive fan of clubbing I don't like the idea of it and im not the biggest fan of the type of music they play really ( im not a big fan of pop music). I would much rather go to a gig for a night out then "grind" in a club!
I was the first one to arrive to meet Amy and Jordan as I came straight from work and after the day I had at work I was glad to have this night out believe me :) we exchanged small talk and discussed random things such as celebrity crushes- obviously i didn't discuss my celebrity crushes as i have way too many haha. next to arrive was Lish, Paige and Elli at about 7:45-8 ish followed by Emma about 5-10 minutes later. There was meant to be a opening act for Enigma but unfortunately they cancelled so Jordan's band didn't start there set until 9. So until that moment we mainly just gossiped and discussed who would be our maid of honour/ bridesmaids at our weddings haha.
So it hit 9pm and Enigma started their set, I didn't know what to expect because i've never seen them perform before. I asked Amy beforehand what sort of genre of music they did and she replied a little bit of everything including the Lion king and Guns and roses (quite the range of song choice). Turns out their music was right up my street and not so much the others, they started off playing more rocky tracks such as sweet child of mine and whole lotta love by Led Zepplin - very much my style ;)
We got up and started dancing when Panic Station started to play, I was literally bouncing up and down at this point as Muse is my favourite band and Panic Station happens to be one of my favourite songs so if anyone from Enigma reads this thank you for playing one of my all time favourites!!
Obviously the classics started playing such as school of rock, i predict a riot and some classic Queen songs, where I learned that Emma can not shimmy haha (i'll teach her :) ) and we had a really good night. I don't feel I let loose to often so it was good to let my hair down and rock out :)
It was a really great night and I hope we do it again :) Enigma were ace (even though I hated their final choice in song haha)
I'm just going to finish this post with a few pictures from Saturday night.

DA DA DA!
