That's What I Like, Part 1: TV

Hey guys, I thought after my last post you might want something a little more positive. So this post is just a general post about what i like, my interests and so on. This might be very boring as a post but who cares i don't want to be known to my readers as a negative nelly. This post is going to be incredibly long i've just realised so im going to do it in three separate shorter blogs. 

So first category is... TV

There are a lot of tv shows I watch or want to watch; seriously tv has gotten so much better and more varied over the past few years its unbelievable.

You've probably gathered if  you read my old blog that I love Merlin and Doctor Who. I'm also a massive fan of game of thrones and both marvel and dc comics so a lot of tv shows I watch are based around those interests. I'm currently watching a lot of tv I honestly don't have the time to watch it all but I really should get round to it I still have series on there from like 2 years ago. 

I'm watching DC Legends of Tomorrow at the moment, which is an awesome tv show, I love it I actually prefer it over the likes of Arrow, Supergirl and The Flash but there are a few crossover episodes so you kind of have to watch all of the dc shows to gather half of what's going on. I got rather upset over it over the first series as they killed off (SPOILER ALERT) Snart, Snart dies saving the rest of the team but I loved Snart and he has appeared a little bit in the second series but as more of a flashback or an hallucination to steer Mick on the right path. I'm also watching Legion, a Marvel tv show, which is a rather odd show and can become a bit confusing; I sometimes get a little lost with it but the concept is awesome and I love this idea of these images/figures that David sees. It can become rather disturbing to people who don't like the sort of psychological thriller elements to it. I watch the majority of marvel/dc shows however as i've watched them i've found out I prefer DC tv shows and Marvel movies although Legion is a very good tv show. Daredevil was one Marvel tv show I couldn't for the life of me get into, it just bored me it didn't have as much suspense as I was expecting and it was a little bit of a let down for me, I just completely lost interest in it. 

You may also gather I like shows make me think and that have a suspense to them. I'm a big fan of dark and deep things such as whitechapel and slasher (slasher was just something else completely). I'm a big fan of horror and psychological thrillers and stuff like that in general; one show on my list to watch is American Horror Story everyone I know seems to think it will be completely up my street. 

I'm a fan of the cases of Sherlock Holmes as most people are, I split opinions though as I love elementary over BBC Sherlock. BBC Sherlock seems to me rather strange as it's like they are trying to modernise it but not fully so instantly the concept becomes kind of confusing and they have glamorized it way too much with all of these explosions and plot lines however I do like both Moriarty and Mycroft in this series in terms of their characters - I think I only really watch it because of them, that and the fact all my friends watch it so it sort of feels like I have to watch it.

One show I literally binge watched was Riverdale only to find out we won't get another episode until 31st march (BOO!!). I don't binge watch shows very often but I was completely hooked by this show. I also like the idea that if it follows the comics, that is is primarily based on, it will lead to a zombie series effectively as it's about surviving a zombie apocalypse and considering I like IZombie as well in a way i'd quite like Riverdale to go down the zombie apocalypse path.

You may not watch any of these shows mentioned, you may watch all of the shows mentioned either way these are just my opinions on them so no hate comments or anything like that please. I'd also like to know your opinions your favourite tv shows.
